Whenever you are in the house by yourself you feel the same, no matter which house it happens to be. You look around i look around the walls don't move, the walls are brown, then white, tiled then not because you leave the bathroom. While you were in there the developers of the MMORPG you play announced that the servers would be shut down and all annual subscriptions would be refunded. You must have been in there for like two months. so you didn't notice the notification on your phone, the change in your checking account. So you didn't notice when you sat back down that someone had stolen all the furniture except your desk and your chair. You got a job and lost it, then you thought about downloading Snapchat because it seemed paradoxically like the well-adjusted thing to do. You looked at your screenshots of your avatar a girl with a lot of muscles and silver hardware, you closed the folder biblically but not quite since it was only one click you got another job and lost that one also. You didn't get to witness the servers gradually clearing out. You were still in the bathroom when everyone gathered in the Melting Plain to say goodbye to each other and exchange emails, phone numbers, zipcodes. You had no references. You ate leftovers from your new job out of a bag. You were eating something out of the fridge while your parents had special anniversary dinner. You thought like a dog. That they'd never come back. You flew away and lost your topology. You tried to rearrange the spaces you had been in so they had some variance which seemed like an important quality but you couldn't do it. Maybe it was just your coordinates. The place you are in is fixed. The place you are is nonexistent.
